This review is for the baby bath floating turtle toy and bath tub thermometer. This little turtle bath toy floats on top of the water. It has an LED screen in the middle of the turtles back on top. This displays the temperature of the water. It lights up in three different colors as well. Red is hot, blue is cold and green is the right temperature. The turtle takes the temperature every second in the water. Automatically starts when put in the water. I want to start out by saying its a great toy on its own. the head and the hands/legs are soft rubber while the turtle shell is hard. I've had this turtle for a little over a month now and we give our little own a bath every other day so its been used a lot and we haven't had the issues that other reviewers are saying with incorrect reading and mold etc. This toy has three different light settings which indicate temperature. When the toy gets past 102' it turns red indicating the water is too hot. This Turtlemeter has always been consistent with the temperature part. This is an adorable addition to bath time.They enjoy playing with the turtle while taking a bath.Using this I realize I am a person of numbers although I put my hand in all the time I need confirmation on my senses. You know sometimes it's warm enough to for you hand but when dip in it feels cold and also the opposite.The green light tells you when the temperature is just right and all you have to do is put it in the water. No switches to turn on or anything. My daughter loves it so much she keeps it in her room and uses it even when she takes a shower instead of a bath. I can't get her to let it out of her sight. If you have kids they will live this and you will have peace of mind knowing the temperature of the water . I loved the idea of an item that is a toy that has some utility to it and after using it a few times with my young spawning. Its cinch to use, just drop it in the tub and it automatically turns on, take it out it automatically turns off. The light for the temperature display is large and bright enough to easy read at a quick glance. Changing the batteries can be challenging but nothing too impossible. Try it out, promise you won't regret.
