Push-button access to Average blood pressure calculation. it seems to be doing it's job, since this is my first attempt at gauging my blood pressure, I do it on right and left wrist and the numbers are similar I average both numbers and input that numbers in weekly records. Take the 10 breaths to relax and I elevate my arm so it's at the same level of my heart, and seems to accurate. Try to relax and I wish I could give you more information, but compared to the other reviews on similar wrists monitor this one by far seems to be a good value and if you follow the directions you should be able to receive pretty accurate readings. As you know wrist monitors are not as accurate as arm cuffs, so just be aware of that fact, but so far I am happy with this one.This bp monitor turns out to be an excellent device. Two major suggestions to a potential user : 1.) make sure the monitor is aligned with your heart 2.) be perfectly still. Using these two suggestions the user should get near perfect readings every time. Always sit upright while taking a measurement and rest your elbow on a flat surface. Do not cross your legs. Do not place cellular phones near the blood pressure monitor. It’s recommended that you do not take your blood pressure while eating, talking, laughing or smoking for at least 5 minutes before a measurement. Also do not talk, read, eat or watch television during measurement. Try your best to relax and avoid distractions.As far as price, can you really put a price on your health? Seriously though, it’s inexpensive I think for what it is and what it can do. The kind that straps around your upper arm always hurts when it's squeezing my arm to get my blood pressure but this cuff kind doesn't hurt my wrist when squeezing and that's a plus!! Not only is this wrist cuff more comfortable it is also a lot faster.I think that everyone should have a blood pressure unit accessible in their home for those just in case moments and I think that this Ozeri Blood Pressure Cuff is a great one to have.
